Real Estate CMS

A real estate agent wants to be able to publish offerings on her website.

I developed a simple content management system that allows to maintain a list of current offerings sorted into categories (to let, for sale, houses, flats...) and place one of them prominently on the homepage. In addition to textual information images can be uploaded and are displayed in a gallery after they have been automatically transformed to a web-friendly size and format.

This was done during my internship at eSKa-tec mbH in eleventh grade. I had the idea while being asked to do some minor tweaks on the website, took the initiative and built a prototype. After presenting it to my manager, I pitched it to the real estate agent who happily paid for completion as well as additional features. As far as I know, after all these years it's still in use.
